I wanted to share some bittersweet news—I will be stepping away from my role as a faculty member in the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. This decision wasn’t easy, as I’ve truly loved every moment of teaching, mentoring, and learning alongside you. I know for certain that Wilkes will always be with me!
One piece of advice I’d like to leave with you is that careers are not always linear. Personal and professional growth often requires stepping outside your comfort zone and embracing new challenges. These opportunities will shape you in ways you can’t imagine—so don’t be afraid to seize them. I’m excited to be stepping into a new position that will allow me to continue working toward #ChangingTheWorld with #CommunityPharmacy in a different capacity.
While I am stepping away from my faculty role on November 23, I look forward to finding ways to stay connected with the School of Pharmacy in new ways. Until then, I’ll be cheering for your continued success! If we aren’t connected already, please connect with me on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/in/nicolepezzino). And thank you for everything—it has been an absolute honor to be part of your journey.
