Sonel Shropshire’s visit has been rescheduled and he will return to campus on Nov. 13-14, to engage in additional DEI training and conversations with our campus community. You are all encouraged and invited to participate.
Faculty and staff who had an opportunity to attend a September session on “Infusing DEI Into the Curriculum” are invited to take part in a follow-up session which will focus on applied strategies and a roadmap for infusing DEI into the curriculum.

Members of the Wilkes community are also invited to attend a focus group to share perspectives on DEI on campus, insights on our successes and suggestions for potential improvements. Please note that each focus group will be limited to 30 participants and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Prompt RSVPs are recommended.

For our graduate students, we will hold a virtual Graduate Student Focus Group from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd. Students who RSVP will receive a link for this online session.
Your feedback from these focus groups will inform the DEI strategic plan and guide the University’s work as we move into the future and build a richer Wilkes experience for all.
