This is a reminder that we are still accepting nominations for the 2024 Colonel’s Distinguished Employee Awards. As President Cant recently stated, take a step back to reflect on your colleagues and on your own accomplishments; to appreciate and recognize the passion, hard work, progress and collaboration to further the University’s goals and mission.
These awards will be given to employees who display outstanding commitment to the University by going above and beyond the everyday responsibilities of their positions. Full-time employee winners will receive a $1,000.00 award and part-time and adjunct winners will receive a $500.00 award; all awards are subject to applicable tax withholdings.
Please access the nomination form to learn more about the award, its requirements and to submit your nomination. The nomination form will remain open until Wednesday, November 20, 2024, and may be submitted by a colleague, a supervisor or through self-nomination. Award winners will be announced in early December and will be recognized at Spring Convocation in January.
If you have any questions or problems submitting the nomination form, please contact the co-chairs of the committee: teresita.shovlin@wilkes.edu and kelly.siegfried@wilkes.edu.
