Wilkes University’s Office of Admissions is seeking nominations for the 2025 Outstanding Adult Learner Award. To be considered for the award, the adult learner must:
(1) be 24 years of age or older at time of graduation.
(2) graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Wilkes in January, May, or September 2025.
(3) have a Wilkes cum gpa of 3.00 or better.
(4) have overcome obstacle(s) in order to attain their degree.
(5) be active in the Wilkes community and/or the community at large.
If you know a deserving adult learner who meets the aforementioned requirements, please email the student’s name along with 1-2 paragraphs explaining why the student is deserving of the award to elizabeth.nicholas@wilkes.edu before Feb 25. Students, who meet the criteria, are permitted to nominate themselves.
