Are your LIVE courses filled with pages and pages of text? Do your students just skim the content due to endless scrolling? Would you like to engage them more? The Office of Technology for Teaching & Learning is pleased to introduce D2L’s new Creator+ Tool that is now included in the LIVE Editor! These easy-to-use tools don’t require any html knowledge and help you create more dynamic, customized content for your students through simple fill-in-the-blank style formats. Instructors now can organize content and create interactive components that previously only OTTL could do!
In this series of workshops, we will introduce Elements and Layouts to build interactive content, as well as Practices to create formative, interactive learning activities to let learners test their comprehension and get immediate feedback as well as share additional learning resources. Each component of Creator+ will be covered on a different day as follows:
- Elements on Monday, February 24th from 5:00-5:30pm
- Layouts on Tuesday, March 18th from 5:00-5:30pm
- Practices on Wednesday, April 9th from 5:00-5:30pm
Please note these sessions are for instructors who develop their own courses and that have an intermediate/advanced level of experience with D2L.
