Ready to Make an Impact?

Looking to make a positive impact in the world? Are you committed to growing as a leader? Then read on… and apply to be a Bonner for fall 2025!

If you qualify for federal work study while attending Wilkes, and you enjoy volunteering and learning and growing, then the Bonner Leader Program is for you. This unique opportunity allows you to get paid to serve at a non-profit organization in the community over multiple semesters. Plus… Bonners are awarded a $2,000 stipend for the year to account for the training sessions, off-campus retreats, and other required meetings throughout fall and spring semesters.

Bonner Leaders attend regular training sessions dedicated to strengthening leadership skills, communication skills, project management skills, and more. Each cohort has the opportunity to grow together, and they work with the upperclassmen cohorts to positively impact campus and the surrounding communities through various activities and events during the school year.

Bonners get multiple opportunities to travel throughout their four years in the program. There are numerous leadership roles within the program to help build a positive culture across cohorts and expand our positive impact on and off campus. This fulfilling opportunity for undergraduates is offered to only a few students each year.
