Eddie Kaufman’s Battle with Leukemia (Wilkes Cares!)

We will be having the CHEEK SWAB for Eddie Kauffman in his battle with Leukemia next Tuesday April 15 as well as next Thursday April 17.

The cheek swabbing is a 30 second process of just getting your cheek swabbed by a Q-Tip.
Time is 11-1pm in the Marts Gym on both TUESDAY & THURSDAY APRIL 15 & 17.
Athletes, staff, faculty, & coaches can just pick one date based on their schedules.
Thanks again for all your support and helping Eddie fight his battle with Leukemia.
Eddie played baseball at Mid Valley High School (Dickson City, PA) before heading to Roanoke College in Virginia to play baseball. Last year he was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to stop playing baseball. Eddie is a sophomore at Roanoke. Eddie needs a STEM CELL TRANSPLANT (A SIMPLE BLOOD DRAW LIKE DONATING BLOOD TO THE RED CROSS) BASED OFF THE CHEEK SWAB to beat his battle with Leukemia. Eddie has been taking treatments & has had multiple surgeries, but if he gets just ONE exact CHEEK SWAB MATCH his odds in battling leukemia DRASTICALLY IMPROVE.
“What’s a little thing you could do that would make a big difference?”….This is it! Help Eddie by GETTING YOUR CHEEK SWABBED…IT COULD SAVE HIS LIFE...Dates are Tuesday April 15 or Thursday April 17 from 11-1pm in the Marts Center Gym. Thank you for all your support & please keep Eddie & his family in your thoughts and prayers.
