The Career Center for Development and Internships (CCDI) and Office of Academic Success (OAS) welcomes applicants for the position of graduate assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. This individual will be responsible for performing up to 20 hours of service per week during the fall and spring semesters.
CCDI Job Duties:
The GA will help to fill the coverage and availability needs of professional staff at the Center for Career Development and Internships. They will assist in providing information on career services available to walk-in students, inform and assist students regarding registering for academic internships, assist the internship coordinator in tracking internship hours and paperwork via LIVE, and assist the career director with research and technology related to the Handshake career system software. The GA will also help in offering workshops, pop-ups, and outreach activities for the career and internship programs.
OAS Job Duties:
In the Office of Academic Success, the GA’s responsibilities will be to guide students to develop their own learning strategies in individual sessions and manage weekly study lab hours for the EDGE program. The position also involves developing social media pages and resources throughout the fall and spring semesters. The GA will help promote the OAS office, develop and present workshops, keep records, and make referrals to other campus resources.
