Wilkes University Archives is excited to announce that thanks to Emily Romanoskey, an Art Department student artwork collection has finally been processed and digitized and made available online!
Emily is a junior Digital Design and Media Art major with a minor in art. Along with working at the archives, Emily also interns and is part of the design team at the Sordoni Art Gallery. She hopes to have a career in an art museum someday.
Wilkes University Archivist Suzanna Calev would like to thank Sharon Cosgrove for transferring these materials last December and would like to encourage any former Art students to see if any of the digitized items are their artwork if they are labeled incorrectly. We did not receive much documentation on titles of pieces or artist names, so many pieces are named “untitled” and many creators are labeled as “Unknown.” If you see a piece that is your own, please reach out to suzanna.calev@wilkes.edu with the hyperlink so we can update the item level metadata to give credit for your work.
