Teaching with Technology Wednesdays Kicks Off June 18

Registration is open for our annual faculty development event! Week one kicks off with two sessions: one designed for new instructors and the other for anyone interested in innovative teaching practices. 

  • Session 1: Brightspace Instructor Essentials – This session is designed to help new instructors gain knowledge about the core tools in D2L/LIVE so they can better use LIVE this summer or fall to support their courses. It will also be a great refresher for anyone who hasn’t used LIVE in a while or might not be familiar with all the core tools. Led by a D2L Trainer.
  • Session 2: Connected for Success: Leveraging Technology to Enhance Collaboration – Explore how tools like Google Slides and others can be used to support collaborative learning and how to redesign existing activities or assignments to promote meaningful collaboration through technology. Led by Jessica Cordaro, Graduate Education dept adjunct.
