| This career prep program is open to all pharmacy students, but the focus is on P4s. Every year, we provide insight and advice on how to attain your desired position after graduation. The information we discuss can also be helpful for securing an internship, scholarship, or part-time job while you’re in school too. We have a new format this year based on last year’s feedback. Instead of hosting a live session virtually each month, we’re providing you with a repository of recordings on key career prep concepts. This way, you can access the materials on your own timeline based on what you’re pursuing, from residency and fellowship to a direct entry position. Here’s the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Uw0vmXUolJC99rspnS4p9BzRqfDIUOmF?usp=sharing But we’ll also have several live, virtual sessions at strategic points throughout the year so we can talk and answers questions: – Thursday, September 18 from 6-8:00PM: Q&A and overview session on jobs and post-graduate opportunities – Thursday, November 13 from 6-8:00PM: PhORCAS and general application materials questions – January TBD: Mock interview practice The links to sessions will be shared to all P4s. Reach out to Dr. Kieck or myself for a link if you’re a P1, P2, orP3. This program is an optional resource. The faculty have always been dedicated to your success within the curriculum, and we’d like to continue our support by helping you navigate career paths. If you have any questions, please use this form to submit them, and we’ll answer it during our live sessions: https://forms.gle/ZkF2NLgYdbKnfRkF6 |
