| The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at University Hospitals Specialty Pharmacy (UHSP) is designed for PharmD graduates interested in specialty pharmacy, ambulatory care, and direct patient care in a rapidly growing and evolving field. Residents gain hands-on experience managing high-cost, complex therapies across multiple specialty disease states, working closely with providers and patients in both clinical and outpatient settings. This ASHP-accredited program emphasizes patient-centered care, access coordination, and preparation for advanced practice or PGY2 training.
