The class discusses how coffee has shaped the history, politics and people of Central America. Over spring break, you will travel to Costa Rica to visit coffee farms and experience the country’s culture and amazing food. There is no disruption to your semester and you will travel with professors who know the country very well. Travel and logistics in Costa Rica are arranged, so you can focus on learning and exploring.
