Wilkes University Archives seeks a Federal Work-Study eligible student interested in processing a Wilkes-Barre Area Medical Complex collection, initially part of our Wilkes-Hahnemann archival collection. This collection consists of various memorandums, meeting minutes, and other committee documents in reference to the development of Medical facilities within the Wyoming Valley.
The student will be arranging physical documents, describing and researching into the history of this development using the materials within the collection. The student will also be writing a brief blog post regarding this history once they are finished with processing the collection.
This project would be ideal for a student interested in biological/medical sciences and has an interest in the history of this region. YOU MUST BE FEDERAL WORK-STUDY ELIGIBLE.
