Join us for a panel discussion on “Understanding the War in Iran.”
The event will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. in Breiseth Hall, Room 107.
Dr. Jonathan Kuiken, Associate Professor of History will begin with key historical events that shaped modern Iran. Dr. Andreea Maierean, Associate Professor of Political Science will discuss perspectives from people in Iran and across the region. Dr. Benjamin Toll, Associate Professor of Political Science and Criminology will conclude with the implications for the United States and possible future scenarios.
We will also leave time at the end for questions and discussion. The goal is to help students better understand the history behind the conflict and the possible directions it may take.
