Wilkes University is pleased to announce an opening for the Director of the Center for Career Development and Internships in the Division of Academic Excellence and Student Success. The Center supports students’ career readiness through a holistic approach focused on self-discovery and preparation for life after graduation.
The successful candidate will oversee career-related programs and services, supervise Center staff, support students with career planning, lead presentations and professional development programming, build relationships with faculty, employers, and alumni, and coordinate career and internship fairs. A master’s degree in counseling or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, 3–5 years of career development experience, and strong communication and planning skills.
