Wilkes University is pleased to announce an opening for a Finance Analyst in the Finance Department. This position supports the University’s financial operations through reporting, analysis, compliance, and collaboration with campus departments.
The successful candidate will prepare financial reports and variance analyses, support budgeting and accounting functions, complete general ledger reconciliations and journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end close, and provide support for audits and regulatory reporting. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and the ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting.
