Internal Full-time Employment Opportunity – Office of Academic Success

Wilkes University is pleased to announce an opening for an Undergraduate Advising and Program Coordinator in the Office of Academic Success. This position supports student success through first-year academic advising, first-generation student programming, transfer orientation, undeclared advising, and other Office of Academic Success initiatives.

The successful candidate will advise first-year students on goals, curriculum, course load, scheduling, registration, majors, academic success, and university policies, while also helping coordinate programming and advising activities that support continuous improvement. A master’s degree is required, and the ideal candidate will have at least three years of counseling and/or teaching experience in an educational setting, preferably at the post-secondary level.

  1. “Meets expectations” or above on the most recent performance evaluation
  2. No disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans within one year from the date of application
