History Senior Capstone Presentation

The History program of the Division of Global Cultures invites you to a public showcase of senior capstone research. Six students will present their original historical findings in this two-day event. 

Dates: November 17 (Tue) and 19 (Thu)

Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm

Location: Breiseth 316.

Topics include Frederick the Great’s pursuit of Enlightenment, the legacy of Prohibition, scientific progress during the 1960s space race, McCarthyism and public education, Jewish identities during the Holocaust, and the emergence of the “proper” woman in the Civil War era.

The event is open to the public. Faculty, students, families, friends, and community members are all welcome. Whether you are a specialist or simply curious, please join us and show your support!
