In less than two months the Trump presidency has engendered many questions about the Constitution, norms, presidential power, and the overall nature of checks and balances in the United States. These questions typically take the form of asking whether or not a president can do the things that the Trump administration is attempting to do. The goal of this event is to scratch the surface of questions like this with an eye toward the legal and political challenges faced by the Trump administration in carrying out their agenda. Dr. Kreider and Dr. Toll will attempt to highlight where the Trump administration is likely to be successful in its goals, and where the administration will face the strongest challenges. This will be an ask me anything where you can come to the event with questions and we will do our best to answer given our expertise, but should you wish to send emails ahead of time please email them to benjamin.toll@wilkes.edu.
