It&#8217;s called the Slim Announcements <span class=\"il\">widget<\/span>. This new <span class=\"il\">widget<\/span> will replace the existing Announcements widget and will present a simplified, unified view of the announcements, by trimming the display to a single image and a shorter length of text that allows you to \u2018Read More\u2019 with a simple click. The streamlined display avoids overwhelming readers and makes it more obvious when there are multiple announcements for viewing. <strong>Please note this change will only affect the main LIVE homepage, your individual course homepages will not change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This and more new homepage <span class=\"il\">widgets<\/span> will be available soon for faculty to add to their courses.
