Info<\/u><\/strong>:<\/u>\u00a0It\u2019s the battle of the artists as Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre Mural Artist, Vince Bonitz, faces off against Scranton Mural Artist, Eric Bussart, in a spray paint can competition for the ages.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Versus Art Battle<\/strong>\u00a0will take place on\u00a0Friday, July 19th, from 5-9 p.m. at the Diamond City\u00a0<\/strong>Field, 333 Madison Street in Wilkes-Barre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The unique event is put on by the Educational Opportunity Centers of PA (EOC, Inc.) in an\u00a0effort to bring the community together to celebrate creative arts.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Versus Art Battle<\/strong>\u00a0will have a block party atmosphere complete with Food Vendors, Live\u00a0Music, Poetry, a Silent Disco, a Cornhole Tournament and more! All are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

The Artists and Host:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre Mural Artist – Vince Bonitz<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vincent Bonitz is a professionally trained tattoo artist by trade with just a few months shy of\u00a030 years in the business. Deep rooted in graffiti and illustration going all the way back to the\u00a080s where he first fell in love with the artwork and hasn’t looked back since. He loves what\u00a0he\u2019s doing. You can catch his mural work in select locations throughout the valley and his skin\u00a0art all over the country.<\/p>\n

Scranton Mural Artist – Eric Bussart<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eric Bussart is an illustrator and mural artist based in the Scranton area. Eric is a full-time\u00a0artist known for his mural work throughout the tri-state area and his vibrant illustrative Style.<\/p>\n

Host -Monk Melville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Monk Melville is a Traveling Artist & Host based in the NEPA area. With 10 years of experience, he has been working with other local Artists and Businesses to make one vs one events like these! You can follow him on Social Media at @Monkmelville and see you all July 19th!<\/p>\n

Educational Opportunity Centers, Inc. (EOC) provides FREE services to encourage and assist\u00a0adults, as well as high school students in target areas & target schools who are interested in\u00a0continuing their education. Funded through the United States Department of Education TRIO\u00a0program, we focus on assisting low-income, potential first-generation college students.<\/p>\n

The Educational Opportunity Centers of Pennsylvania is staffed by a dedicated team of\u00a0professionals who are experts in the field of post-secondary access, education, financial aid\u00a0and labor market information.<\/p>\n

This program is offered 100% through a federal grant of $480,000 (ETS) and $618,819 (EOC)\u00a0for the current fiscal year from the U.S. Department of Education, with facilities and\u00a0administrative support provided by the Educational Opportunity Centers of PA, a 501c3\u00a0nonprofit entity.<\/p>\n
