If you are new to Wilkes this fall, these sessions will help you get started on the good path toward success.<\/p>\n<p><b>New Faculty Bootcamp: Getting Started with D2L and Panopto: <\/b>This bootcamp will show you how to get started with a blank shell in D2L, and populate your course with content, assignments, discussions, and quizzes to get up and running, and how to supplement your course with video from Panopto.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abbreviated version &#8211; A condensed version with a focus on D2L to give you the basics of getting started with adding materials to D2L. When\/where: Thursday, August 15 from 6:30 &#8211; 8 PM, Breiseth Hall Rm 105<\/li>\n<li>Full Version &#8211;\u00a0 A full 3 hours of in-person training on D2L and Panopto to help you get your course ready for the fall semester. When\/where: Friday, August 16 from 9 AM-12 PM, Breiseth Hall rm 105<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>New Adjunct Orientation: <\/b>We will provide an overview of university systems, tools, and support structures you will need in order to navigate your teaching experience here at Wilkes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online Orientation &#8211; will include important information specific to individuals teaching fully online courses where the course content is provided to you. When\/where: August 13 at 6 PM via zoom. Individuals who register for the Online Adjunct Faculty Orientations will be sent the Zoom link at least 24 hours prior to the event.<\/li>\n<li>On-Campus Orientation &#8211; will include what instructors teaching primarily face-to-face, on-campus need to know.
