Wilkes\u2019\u00a0United\u00a0Way\u00a0Campaign 2024 is now underway within our community<\/strong>! All staff and faculty received a message\u00a0to their Wilkes email account to make a pledge towards this year\u2019s campaign. Please check your Spam folder to be sure that you received this in your email. We greatly appreciate your pledges to the\u00a0United\u00a0Way campaign, and we hope you consider contributing to help the\u00a0United\u00a0Way\u00a0serve the greater Wyoming Valley,\u00a0which includes Wilkes’ SHINE program! Looking for other ways to support the campaign? Be sure to attend Taste of Wilkes 2024: Let Us Serve You on Tuesday, November 12th from 11:30am-1:00pm in the Jean and Paul Adams Commons (JPAC).\u00a0The admissions price is $5, and event and basket raffle tickets may be purchased in advance at the\u00a0Taste of Wilkes online store<\/a>! With admission, you get a delicious buffet lunch, a chance to check out our basket raffle and the opportunity to vote for your favorite dish! with categories for best overall dish, best savory dish, and best dessert!<\/p>\n


The event runs from 11:30pm \u2013 1:00pm, so we strongly encourage attending as close to the start of the event as possible, as food does go quickly.\u00a0 Taste-test different dishes prepared by your campus colleagues, including a variety of appetizers and salads, along with sweet treats!\u00a0 You may enjoy your food at the event or take it to go, and we ask those who take food to-go are asked to bring their own reusable bags.
