MOWs works out of the Church of Christ Uniting (COCU) kitchen in Kingston.\u00a0 Volunteers pick up the meals<\/span>\u00a0between 9:00 – 10:00\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0weekdays.\u00a0 A volunteer typically delivers 7-14\u00a0meals<\/span>\u00a0on<\/span> their route, which may take about an hour.\u00a0 We have about 8-10 routes (including the Back Mountain) covering the east and west sides of the Susquehanna. Volunteers drop off the\u00a0meals<\/span> and may spend a few minutes with our clients, who may not see another person that day in some cases.\u00a0 We’re only looking for volunteers to offer one day a week.\u00a0 It could be 4 people agreeing to work together and take one day \u00a0every 4 weeks.<\/p>\n A person needs their own vehicle of course and a willingness to help mostly elderly people in need of healthy food and socialization.<\/p>\n Interested?
