As a Fulbright\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/applicants\/types-of-awards\/english-teaching-assistant-awards\">ETA (English Teaching Assistant)<\/a>\u00a0you would be assisting<br \/>\nthe local English teacher\u2013not in charge of the ESL program itself. In fact, you do not need ESL<br \/>\ntraining or teaching experience, although that would be a plus.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/applicants\/types-of-awards\/study-research\">Study\/Research\u00a0grants<\/a> are also available to students who design their own projects, such as a<br \/>\nwriting a novel or conducting a research project. These grantees typically work with advisers at<br \/>\nforeign universities or other institutes of higher education in approximately 140 countries. You<br \/>\ncan also pursue a graduate degree abroad, often with tuition expenses covered. Your Fulbright<br \/>\naward would then be contingent upon your acceptance at the chosen university. Over\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/countries\">140<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/countries\">countries<\/a>\u00a0offer Fulbright Grants, which are subsidized by the U.S. Department of State and open<br \/>\nto U.
