Join the Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists (PSHP) Fall Summit Meeting themed: \u201cEmpowering Care for Aging Populations. The Key to Longer, Healthier Lives\u201d on Friday September 12th at Kalahari Waterpark in the Poconos.

o This one-day meeting is an opportunity to learn about empowering pharmacotherapy for an aging population, to present a poster, and engage and network with colleagues.
o Arrive on Thursday September 11that Kalahari. A one-night stay at the PSHP Summit rate (only $179) includes tickets to the water park for up to four guests per room!
o Then please join all of your colleagues for the PSHP Fall Summit meeting on Friday September 12th, ending at 215pm so your weekend is not impacted.
o Breakfast and lunch included with registration.
o We encourage you to present a poster on Friday September 12th \u2013 it\u2019s easy to submit & a great way to network\u2013 instructions attached – abstract submission deadline July 25th. Poster instructions attached.
o Encore poster presentations are accepted.
o Professors will place acknowledgment of \u201cPosters of Distinction\u201d for poster displays that are scored the highest during walk-rounds.
o Hope to see you in Pocono Manor this Fall!

Poster Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission Deadline: July 25, 2025

General Information
\u2022 Poster session will take place Friday, September 12 during the PSHP Fall Summit Meeting at the Kalahari, Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania
\u2022 Poster set up requested by 9:00 am and take down is at 2:15 pm
\u2022 Professors will place acknowledgment of \u201cPosters of Distinction\u201d for poster displays that are scored the highest during walk-rounds. Please have your poster displayed by 9:00am to be considered for this recognition.
\u2022 Plan to be positioned at your poster from 11:30am to 12:00pm
o Meeting attendees are encouraged to view posters throughout the day and especially during the lunch hour

Poster Formatting Guidelines
\u2022 Title: Concise, with no medication brand names
\u2022 Primary author: Main contact and individual responsible for submission
\u2022 Co-Authors: List each author, credentials, and organization(s)
\u2022 Objective(s)\/purpose of the study or project
\u2022 Methods used in the study or project
\u2022 Results of the study or project
\u2022 Conclusions\/summary of the study or project
\u2022 IRB Approval: Required if presenting applicable clinical research
\u2022 A statement of financial disclosures is required for all authors on the poster
Abstract Submission Instructions
\u2022 Sections of abstract should include the following: Title, Primary Author, Co-Authors (names, credentials, and organizations represented), Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion\/Summary. Please do not include any graphs or tables in your abstract submission (save those for your poster).
o 300 word maximum
\u2022 Email a copy of your abstract by July 25, 2025 to pshp.execdir@pshp.org<\/a>
o There is no abstract-specific form for this year\u2019s submissions
\u2022 Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling submission basis. The earlier you submit, the sooner you will know if your abstract has been accepted for presentation.
