{"id":24951,"date":"2025-07-22T08:55:42","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T12:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/?p=24951"},"modified":"2025-07-22T08:55:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T12:55:44","slug":"nominations-open-for-presidents-awards-for-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/index.php\/2025\/07\/22\/nominations-open-for-presidents-awards-for-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"Nominations Open for President\u2019s Awards for Excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As a reminder, nominations are open for the President\u2019s Awards for Excellence until Wednesday, July 30.<\/strong> <strong>Faculty and staff can submit their nominations <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/iLMxAcnPQvtoVsB69\">via this form<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The President\u2019s Awards for Excellence honor extraordinary achievements in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Mentorship:<\/strong>\u00a0Nurturing and empowering others through mentoring, advising and guidance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Scholarship:<\/strong>\u00a0Advancing knowledge and innovation through research, publication or creative activity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Contributions to Diversity:<\/strong>\u00a0Celebrating those who foster inclusivity, representation and belonging on campus<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Innovation:<\/strong>\u00a0Introducing creative solutions or programs that enhance our University\u2019s impact<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Community Building:<\/strong>\u00a0Strengthening our campus culture through collaboration, empathy and civic engagement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Service:<\/strong>\u00a0Recognizing individuals who engage in active citizenship and collaborative partnerships to enhance campus and our communities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Stewardship:<\/strong>\u00a0Honoring those who are committed to intentionally honoring the University\u2019s traditions and responsibly securing the evolution of Wilkes and its mission<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once reviewed by the President\u2019s Cabinet, recipients and their nominators will be notified.
