Wilkes has performance opportunities for\u00a0<span class=\"il\">you<\/span>! Orchestra, Pep Band, Civic Band (Concert Band), and Jazz Ensemble are all looking for more students to join. Students in the instrumental program have access to school\u00a0<span class=\"il\">instruments<\/span>, storage lockers for personal\u00a0<span class=\"il\">instruments<\/span>, unique opportunities such as the annual PA Intercollegiate Band, Wilkes University General Education credit (all ensembles except Pep Band), and more! See details below:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><span class=\"il\">Instruments<\/span>\u00a0and Lockers<\/b>: Anyone in at least one of the ensembles below may request a school owned\u00a0<span class=\"il\">instrument<\/span>\u00a0to use or a locker to store their personal\u00a0<span class=\"il\">instrument<\/span>\u00a0by filling out this form:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/6fi24mYT2ajt1Q8b7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"il\">Instrument<\/span>\u00a0and Locker Request Form<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Wilkes\u00a0University Civic Band<\/b>: Open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.<\/div>\n<div>Symphonic Concert Band: Flutes, Oboes, Bassoons, Clarinets, Saxophones, Horns, Trumpets, Trombones, Euphoniums\/Baritones, Tubas, and Percussion<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>MUS 121 (0 or 1 Credit)<\/li>\n<li>Rehearsals are Wednesdays 6:30p to 9p<\/li>\n<li>Student &#8220;auditions&#8221; (just low-stress listenings to\u00a0check in) are Wednesday August 27th or virtual before then.
