Join us for D2L Brightspace Essentials."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning (OTTL) is pleased to present an introductory session of how to use D2L\/LIVE for all new instructors starting with us next semester.\u00a0 A highly-qualified D2L trainer will provide an overview of the key functions and workflows so you can get off to a great start using the system. This session is designed specifically for instructors new to the system or who have been away from it for a while and need a refresher.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The session will be delivered via Zoom. Please register to receive the link.<\/p>\n<p><b>D2L Brightspace Instructor Essentials &#8211; Jan 5, 2026 from 3:30 &#8211; 5:30 PM<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is covered: An overview of how to use tools designed for communication, building content, discussions, assessing students, the calendar and more.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Who is this for: Anyone new to D2L Brightspace\/LIVE, anyone who needs a refresher on some or all of the tools\/workflows available to instructors, anyone developing their own online course, anyone who supports instructors in their use of Brightspace\/LIVE<\/li>\n<li>Duration: 120 min (2 hours)<\/li>\n<li>Level: Beginner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Learn more and sign up <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/A7EkPi1PmERVjpgL8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
