The <span class=\"il\">Early Alert<\/span> system (EA) is available for faculty use.\u00a0 EA plays a pivotal role in identifying student needs and providing guidance and resources for students.<\/p>\n<p>EA is a tool designed to allow faculty to provide &#8220;just-in-time&#8221; feedback so that critical <span class=\"il\">academic<\/span> and non-<span class=\"il\">academic<\/span> interventions and support can be provided to our students when needed. The program is easy to use and provides a comprehensive range of information to staff in the Office of <span class=\"il\">Academic<\/span> Success, <span class=\"il\">academic<\/span> advisors, coaches, and our students.<\/p>\n<p>You can submit an <span class=\"il\">early alert<\/span> by logging in through <a href=\"http:\/\/asc.wilkes.edu\/earlyalert\">asc.wilkes.edu\/earlyalert <\/a> . You can also access <span class=\"il\">Early Alert<\/span> through a single sign-on in LIVE under the More Tools drop-down menu in the navigation bar of a course.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage all faculty to use the EA as much as possible, in particular those faculty teaching courses targeted primarily to <span class=\"il\">first<\/span> and second year students. While we emphasize these courses,\u00a0<strong>the system is available for all undergraduate courses<\/strong>. While reporting is most helpful between now and midterms, we encourage feedback at any time during the semester.
