Wilkes University\u2019s on-campus Newspaper and Radio station are looking for\u00a0<span class=\"il\">sports <\/span><span class=\"il\">reporters<\/span>\u00a0and broadcasters of all age and ability!<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for\u00a0<span class=\"il\">writers<\/span>\u00a0to cover Men\u2019s Basketball, Women\u2019s Basketball, Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Swimming, Women\u2019s Ice Hockey, Women\u2019s Lacrosse. Students who are interested in joining the Beacon to write in our\u00a0<span class=\"il\">sports<\/span>\u00a0section can contact the Managing Editor Andrew Marshallsay at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:andrew.marshallsay@wilkes.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">andrew.marshallsay@wilkes.edu<\/a>\u00a0or our Asst.\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Sports<\/span>\u00a0Editor Jake Mills at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jake.mills@wilkes.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jake.mills@wilkes.edu<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are also looking for prospective broadcasters and on air talent to appear on\u00a0Wilkes-Barre\u2019s number one\u00a0<span class=\"il\">sports<\/span>\u00a0talk show, Stat Swarm. We will also be broadcasting Hockey, Basketball and Baseball games beginning in Spring 2026.
