The\u00a0organization got its start in the mid-1990s\u00a0and continues to successfully lead projects\u00a0throughout the region to improve landscapes\u00a0and lives.\u00a0<\/span>Their mission is to encourage the\u00a0reclamation and redevelopment of land affected\u00a0by past coal mining practices.\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;font-size: large\">EPCAMR monitors and analyzes watershed behaviors, tries and experiments on the best way to improve mine land like with\u00a0phytoremediation.
