{"id":32045,"date":"2026-04-15T09:18:34","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:18:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/?p=32045"},"modified":"2026-04-15T09:18:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:18:36","slug":"p-card-travel-reminders-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/index.php\/2026\/04\/15\/p-card-travel-reminders-8\/","title":{"rendered":"P-Card Travel Reminders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure a smooth and efficient travel process, please review the following guidelines and procedures for travel and p-card usage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you will be traveling internationally, please notify Janet Cussatt at least a week in advance, to ensure continuous access to p-card usage.<\/li>\n<li>Gas may only be purchased on p-card for\u00a0<strong>rental vehicles<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Wilkes-owned vehicles<\/strong>. If a personal vehicle is used for travel, the traveler should use their personal card for gas and submit a <em>travel reimbursement form<\/em> (which is a mileage rate, inclusive of gas\/wear and tear). Personal vehicles should only be used if the travel is less than 100 miles.<\/li>\n<li>The university&#8217;s preferred vendor for vehicle rentals is Enterprise. Please use this <a href=\"https:\/\/elink.enterprise.com\/en\/11\/10\/wilkesun.html\">link<\/a> to make reservations!<\/li>\n<li>If the round-trip travel time is less than 6 hours, no meals\/incidentals will be covered by the university, per the <a href=\"https:\/\/elink.enterprise.com\/en\/25\/12\/wilkes-university.html\">Travel Policy<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The business purpose in PNC ActivePay should include the who, what, why, where, when of your travel plans!
