This interactive session will be facilitated by Dr. Antonio Henley on May 28, 2026, from 2:00\u20133:00 PM via Zoom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The purpose of this workshop is to equip participants with practical tools that support e\ufb00ective stress management and navigation of social tensions related to the backlash against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Objectives<\/b><b>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Increase understanding of the stressors faced by \ufb01rst-generation college students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facilitate insight into the lived experiences of diverse educators and professionals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provide actionable strategies to support \ufb01rst-generation individuals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Equip participants with tools to manage personal stress and emotional labor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Develop skills to de-escalate di\ufb00icult conversations and social tensions related to DEI.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Strengthen participants\u2019 con\ufb01dence communicating the value and impact of inclusive practices.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The interactive workshop will use trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approaches, emphasizing psychological safety, practical application and real-world relevance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Antonio Henley Biography:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With over thirty years of experience in organizational strategy, team development, and culture transformation, Dr. Antonio Henley is a seasoned leadership consultant.
