{"id":33332,"date":"2026-06-03T09:01:05","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T13:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/?p=33332"},"modified":"2026-06-03T09:01:06","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T13:01:06","slug":"are-you-a-first-year-college-student-eligible-to-apply-for-a-pre-pharmacy-guaranteed-seat-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.wilkes.edu\/index.php\/2026\/06\/03\/are-you-a-first-year-college-student-eligible-to-apply-for-a-pre-pharmacy-guaranteed-seat-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Are You a First-Year College Student Eligible to Apply for a Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat?"},"content":{"rendered":"<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">\n<p>The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy has established a process that allows first-year Wilkes students to apply for a Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat (PPGS).\u00a0 Students who are offered admission will enter their sophomore year under the requirements of the PPGS contract.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible students who have completed their first year of college must submit an application by Tuesday, June 23, 2026, to be considered for conversion to a Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria based on grades earned through the end of the Spring 2026 semester:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A minimum overall GPA of 3.0<\/li>\n<li>A minimum prerequisite GPA of 3.0<\/li>\n<li>A grade of 2.0 or higher in all prerequisite courses<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Students who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply.
