Like we said in the beginning \u2013 a lighter schedule, more focused topics and an opportunity to reflect, refine and recharge. This week hits all those R\u2019s. Here is the final lineup of sessions. Pick one, two or all of them then grab a coffee and a notebook and have a little Summer R&amp;R(&amp;R)!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>9:00 AM: Recharge your Recordings with Panopto! &#8211; Kathy Lewis<\/b><br \/>Raise your hand if you were using Zoom as a tool to record lectures (outside of a synchronous class meeting). Panopto is your best alternative and is integrated with LIVE. Join us to learn the basics of recording and sharing your videos. Everything is stored in Panopto so no worrying about videos getting deleted. (Refine, Recharge)<\/p>\n<p><b>10:00 AM: Smarter Alt Text: Personalizing Image Descriptions with AI &#8211; Rachael Roth<\/b><br \/>Learn how AI tools can streamline the process of creating alt text while supporting more accessible digital content. This session will explore how AI can help generate image descriptions quickly, saving time when developing presentations, documents, websites, and course materials. Participants will learn how to review and refine AI-generated alt text to ensure descriptions are accurate, meaningful, and appropriate for the intended audience and context. The session will also cover accessibility best practices, including how to write concise and effective descriptions, determine when images require alt text, and adapt descriptions based on the purpose of the content. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for using AI to improve efficiency while still creating inclusive, user-centered experiences for screen reader users and other audiences. The New Content Experience (NCE) offers a fresh approach to creating, organizing, and delivering course content that is intuitive, accessible, and engaging. It helps instructors and learners focus on teaching and learning. We will share a \u2018sneak peak\u2019 overview from both an instructor and student view. (Recharge)<\/p>\n<p><b>12:00 PM: Reflect, Refine, Recharge: Looking Ahead to Fall &#8211; Kristine Pruett<\/b><br \/>Join us for this interactive wrap-up session where we invite faculty to reflect on ideas, strategies, and conversations from this summer\u2019s Teaching with Technology program. Together, we will explore what worked, what challenged us, and what small, practical changes we hope to carry into the upcoming academic year.
