Brown has announced that the South Main Street Streetscape Improvement Project will begin on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. During this time, street parking will be limited. Parking meters are bagged on the northbound lane of S. Main Street, between Ross and South Street. Any vehicles parked at bagged meters will be subject to ticketing and towing, beginning at 7:30 AM, Tuesday, August 11<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project includes the replacement of deteriorated sidewalks and curbs, crosswalks, pavement markings, stamp concrete pavers along the curbs, and the installation of trees, signage, benches, and garbage receptacles between South Street and Ross Street.
