Pharmacy Student Ambassadors are volunteers who serve as student representatives of the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, sharing their experiences as student pharmacists with prospective students and families. Ambassadors participate in recruitment events, pharmacy tours, information sessions and outreach activities; engage with prospective students and provide firsthand insight into the PharmD program, experiential learning, student organizations and life as a student pharmacist. Ambassadors help prospective students understand the pharmacy profession and what makes the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy experience unique.
Anticipated commitment is 10 hours per semester. Hours are SD-IPPE non-patient care or Nesbitt Cup eligible.
To express interest in this role, please compose a one page Word document explaining your interest, including an example of one new or innovative recruitment initiative to be considered for implementation.
