This annual race honors the life and legacy of Major Candice Adams Ismirle, a Wilkes alumna and Air Force officer who passed away from triple-negative breast\u00a0<span class=\"il\">cancer<\/span>\u00a0in 2016. Proceeds from the event will benefit Relay for Life, the Valor Clinic Foundation, and leadership development programs for Wilkes Students.
