According to a 2019 survey by the <strong>Association of American Universities<\/strong>, approximately <strong>1 in 10 college students<\/strong> who had been in a relationship reported experiencing intimate partner violence since enrolling. Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of gender, and raising awareness is an important step toward creating safer communities.<\/p>\n<p>Since Purple Out falls during Fall Break, <strong>grab your purple gear early!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stop by the<strong>\u00a0Henry Student Center (SUB) on Tuesday, October 13, from 11:30 AM\u20131:30 PM<\/strong> for free purple <strong>hair clips, awareness ribbons, hair ties, scrunchies, bracelets, and more<\/strong>, while supplies last!<\/p>\n<p>Then wear your purple on Thursday to show support for survivors and help raise awareness about domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wear purple.
