Kisses to Cancer 5K

The Kisses to Cancer 5K was created by Detachment 752 To honor Major Candice Adams Ismirle she was an alumni of Wilkes University and AFROTC Detachment 752. The fifth annual Kisses to Cancer 5K helps inspire others through the life story of United States Air Force Major Candice Adams Ismirle and raise breast cancer awareness. Date of the race is Saturday, October 10, 2026 @ 9 a.m please arrive no later than 8:45 am, as the race starts at 9 a.m. Packet pick-up will occur on Friday, October 9 from 3 – 5 pm on the first floor of the Henry Student Center. Race day pickup is available on a very limited basis from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at the starting area, near the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center. All the proceeds got to The Valor Clinic, supporting homeless Veterans in the NEPA area, Wilkes University Gold Bar -where Candice started her military route, and Relay for Life and the fight against cancer, specifically the PinkKisses fund in Candice’s name
